great at altitude in the bright sun. Very protective! Used them on Mt. Rainier on a bright sunny day. Did very well in keeping the wind out and protecting my eyes from the sun. The adjustable temples give you the ability to custom fit them to your head size and shape. May be too dark for dark cloudy weather.

use them all the time i like not only how these sunglasses look, but how bright everything is.
