Comfortable/Functional I enjoy to wear these shorts, as they are comfortable and can hold a lot of items (keys, $$, etc.) when our family travels.

Long lasting and good comfort. i have three pairs of these shorts so obviously I think alot of the product. they are as good for hiking in the mountains as kicking around town. I like the 100% nylon for the durability and ease of wash & dry. If i were North face i would make these two changes to make the perfect short. 1) add a hidden zipper in one of the cargo pockets.2) make the short a 12 inch inseam to better keep up with the fashion trends. This does however keep my 16 yr. old from stealing them. Over all a solid short. Send my comments to the north face and i will gladly field test a new pair with the noted changes.Better yet,i will give them to the 16yr.old.Ha.

Very well made and very comfortable shorts I was somewhat skepticle of paying $30 for a pair of shorts that would not be used for dress; however, after receiving the shorts I was happy that these shorts can be used for nearly any occasion. Excellent construction and well thought out placement of the pockets make these shorts a winner. Although I haven't been caught out in the elements yet with these shorts, I can attest to the fact that the lightweight material is strong yet comfortable and should not fail to impress the user.
