POC: Iris X Goggles

All-weather goggles with double lense for those who demand good vision and durability in all situations. In principle Iris X will never steam up, even with major changes of air humidity and temperature. Available in white, black or orange and supplied with blue reflective glass lenses, with a light bronze filter. As well as protecting your eyes and much of your face from snow, ice, rain, headwind, tree branches etc – and naturally also assisting your vision in different light conditions – POC has worked on optimizing the field of view on all goggles. Research has shown that simply increasing the field of view allows you not only to see better generally, but to perceive details in your peripheral vision. This in turn speeds your reaction time. All goggles use a cellulose propionate inner lens to optimize anti-fogging properties, and in the case of double lenses, a polycarbonate outer lens for durability and a penetration resistance. All lenses are anti-scratch and anti-fog treated. A good pair of goggles gives you a better view and more time to react. More time to react means less reasons to slow down. Apart from the obvious safety functions of ski goggles, POC has worked on optimizing the field of view. Research has shown that simply increasing peripheral perception plays a central role in a skier's speed of reaction. By making a wide, high lens and reducing the amount of material in the frame we have created goggles that are better in this regard too. Match them with a POC helmet and you'll get a perfect fit.
