Ride Snowboards: Men's Contraband Snowboard Binding

Did you ever look back on a day of riding and wonder if you spent more time getting in and out of your bindings than you actually did going down the mountain? We (and the Ride Team) know what you mean--until we checked out the ContraBand binding. This ultra-light binding is a great choice for jibbers and jumpers who tend to spend their time on the same piece of terrain for hours of the day (like those old schoolyard railings… and other places that most local authorities probably don't want us to suggest in this piece). The ContraBand has a single ratchet closure attached to an integrated strap. Above the new ContraBand Chassis System is Ride's FlexLite Highback, a lighter design than the PowerFlex and Comfortback Highbacks found on other Ride bindings. The FlexLite uses an ergonomic shape that provides excellent support where you need it and minimizes material where you don't, so the weight savings is significant. The FlexLite Highback also has a Tri-Pillar design that offers side-to-side flex for enhanced mobility that's essential in hardcore freestyle applications, so while you don't have to hassle with extra ounces, you still get the support exactly where you need it most. We like the UltraLite Quick-Draw ratchet closure on the ContraBand because you only need to set it up once--when you pair your boot with these bindings--and then you can get in and out within a second. If like to hang at the same backcountry berm or other rail spot all day, the convenient Ride ContraBand lets you spend more time on your snowboard and less time getting into it.
